In the volcanic highlands of Alajuela, Costa Rica, micro-farm producers cultivate Caturra and Catuai varieties with a precision that reflects generations of dedication to quality. Processed using the eco-pulped honey method—dried in the sun with part of the fruit’s natural mucilage still on the bean—this coffee sits beautifully between the clarity of a washed roast and the sweetness of a natural.
The result is a cup of remarkable balance: sweet apple brightness on the front palate, a mid-note of sun-dried raisin, and a long, honeyed finish that makes this coffee as pleasurable to drink black as it is with a splash of oat milk.
